SILVER NOTES
  - A fiber laser darkens silver differently than copper. Fine silver is highly reflective and
conductive, so a surface mark is harder to get dark. Two usual routes:
      (a) black "annealing"/oxide mark: slow, high-frequency passes that darken the surface, or
      (b) a shallow deep-engrave filled with black (paint/enamel/oxidiser) and wiped back.
Run test marks on scrap silver first; the QR modules must come out evenly dark.
  - Test-scan the QR with a phone on the first piece before running the batch.
  - Finish: clear-coat (lacquer / clear enamel) both faces to keep the silver bright and the QR crisp,
or skip the clear coat if natural toning is wanted (toning darkens the bright silver over time
    and slowly lowers QR contrast).
  - The previews show a subtle antique toning on the outer rim only; it is kept out of the QR
and its quiet zone. It is a look, not an instruction.
