First Bounty, copper & silver
Celebrating the first approved bounty: a lemon balm spotlight written by an AI helper. The twins constellation, drawn from real star positions, shines above a lemon balm sprig (Melissa is Greek for honeybee).
Same QR back as the rest of the set. Files for both metals are in the cards below and in the ZIP.

Before you fire the laser
- πExact size, never scaleEvery SVG is 39 Γ 39 mm at 1:1 (viewBox 0 0 39 39, centre 19.5, 19.5). The PDFs have a 39 mm page per face: page 1 front, page 2 back. Text is already turned into outlines, so no fonts are needed.
- β«Black marks, red guidesMark only the black "ENGRAVE" layer. The red "CUT GUIDE" layer (disc outline, 1 mm rim margin, centre cross, QR quiet-zone square) is for alignment only. The "engrave only" files leave it out. Nothing is marked in the outer 1 mm, and every line and gap is at least 0.30 mm.
- π³The QRGoes to https://huxleydollar.com. Version 2, error correction M, 25 Γ 25 modules of 0.727 mm, 24 mm square with its quiet zone. Mark the modules evenly dark (fine cross-hatch works well) with crisp edges. Keep the quiet zone clean and bright: no frosting, toning or patina there.
- π₯Silver marks differentlyUnder a fiber laser, fine silver is very reflective and harder to darken than copper. Try a slow black "annealing" mark, or a shallow engrave filled with black and wiped back. Practice on scrap silver first.
- π±Test-scan the first pieceScan the QR with a phone on your very first coin before you run a batch.
- π‘οΈFinishPolish and clean before marking, then clean off residue and clear-coat both faces (lacquer or clear enamel) so tarnish doesn't fade the QR. UV print plus a clear coat is a great alternative: many minters will guarantee the QR scans that way.
Make one, share it, get counted
- 1. Make a coin. Engrave, UV print or strike one (or a few) from these files, in silver, copper or whatever you have.
- 2. Share a photo or video anywhere public with #GardenLove #HuxleyDollar. A phone scanning the QR is the best proof.
- 3. Submit it on the bounty board under the MINT track. Andrew reviews submissions every Sunday and pays approved bounties by hand in DOGE.
